The original design based on a 6×4 Box with an extended drawbar to allow boats such as a topper and a Laser to be transported and keep the rear overhang to a minimum
The 8×4 was designed to have the same footprint (overall length) as the 6×4 extended drawbar trailer, but as it has a larger box it allow longer items to be stored in the box rather than needing Rig Tubes.
In the case of a Feva, all the sails boom, and the top section fit inside the box, All that need to be stored outside is the lower section which is easily tied to the storage racks. All the mast sections and sails of a Tera sit inside the box.
