Regatta Trailers
These trailers are designed to carry either one or two dinghies on their trolleys on top of a large storage box. The idea behind the regatta trailer is to allow people going away to events to have all there gear in the trailer and not needing to store anything in the car. This can mean no more smelly wetsuits in the caron the way home, and allow the trailer to be completely loaded well before it needs to be towed to an event. The lower box has been designed to allow access when the boats are loaded. The top lid slides back and forward to allow access from the top of the box, there is a drop down flap at the rear to allow for access of sails etc, At the front, there is two small access lids to allow easy and quick storage and retrieval of tools and traps etc. The boats need lifting onto the top levels, and depending on the weight of the boat will need numerous people to raise the boat up to the top level. Lightweight dinghies can be lifted onto lower deck of the trailer, but it does need the use of a pad under the transom to support the transom when the bow is being lifted. There is a double mast support at the front to support two masts. the rear of the mast will need to be supported on the rear of the uppermost boat.
The double stacker is adjustable in height to handle different heights of dinghy. The height is set by loosening the U bolts and raising or lowering the top deck. The length of the trailer can be set to different lengths. This model can take trolleys from 190 size to 275 size. The length is set by loosening the u bolts and the removing the M12 bolts setting the overall length. The trailer can be stretched or compressed to desired length. The Position of the axle is best set at this time. The axle position can be set set the nose weight of the trailer.

This trailer will take a vast range of dinghies on their trolleys ranging Fevas to 49ers The longest box version trailer has also been specifically configured for ILCA/Laser dinghies as the box is long enough to fit all the spars inside the box. This means that there is no need for extra storage tubes strapped to the outside of the trailer for sails and spares

Braked or Unbraked
Extended drawbar to allow for clearance for bike racks or large 4×4 rear doors
